Manfredi San Germano
Following several years in Business Development commercialising genomic tests at a leading biotech company, Manfredi founded his first company trading biological reagents internationally. He completed a MRes in Systems and Synthetic Biology before starting a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London working on microfluidic applications in medicine.

Dr. Jonathan Dench
Expert full-stack R&D engineer with a focus on technical strategy. Strong academic and practical skills with a wide range of deep knowledge including laser diagnostics, imaging, instrumentation, and soft matter physics. Prior to joining Beyond Blood, Jon's experience in early stage R&D spans from founding his own deep tech VC backed startup as well as working in multiple other diagnostic companies.

Dr. Andrea E.L. Attipoe
With his Master’s thesis from Cambridge University in Engineering Physics and a PhD in Bioengineering from Imperial College London, Andrea started using his modelling experience to work as an Software Consultant at CHIREC Hospital in Belgium prior to joining Beyond Blood. He is responsible for developing the impedance counter using cell suspension and electric currents as well as CFD modelling.

Andreea Prisecaru
With a Bachelor’s degree from King’s College London, Andreea worked at the Centre for Neurodevelopmental Biology researching dormant brain tumours and microscopy imaging for quiescent cells. She then moved to industry (Cancer Research UK) where she worked in commercial partnerships and regulatory approval submissions for new drugs.

Director of executive healthcare consultancy called SoWhat? She has an academic background in the field of Biology and Toxicology and over 20 years’ experience working alongside executive level authorities in the Life sciences, digital, medical technology, charities and the NHS sectors. Prior to serving as CFO of Imperial College for 10 years, Muir has spent 17 years at Booz working across a range of industries, notably financial services, the public sector and consumer goods; he was elected partner in 2001. He has held senior leadership roles within Booz being elected UK Managing Partner from 2007 – 2010, and serving as a key member of the team which created Booz & Company in 2008 as a world-leading global management consulting firm.

Professor of Medical Oncology at Imperial College London and Hon Consultant Medical Oncologist at Imperial College Healthcare Trust. From October 2010 Professor Coombes is Director of The Imperial CRUK Cancer Centre. He is also Chair of The Imperial Cancer Research (UK) Centre Steering Committee and Theme leader for Cancer, Imperial College London.

He is a senior lecturer in the Department of Bioengineering. His research group uses lab-on-chip microdevices to important problems in cancer metastasis. Prior to Imperial, Sam was a Tosteson Postdoctoral Fellow in the lab of Professor Mehmet Toner at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.
